It was around $12 for a bowl.
It is all amazing, I say don't even think about the money because the quantities are huge!!! (Especially if you like rice, but even regardless!)
I don't know ... it's not very delicious.
Mitch's sushi restaurant near the airport has abalone and sea urchin but it is spendy but my friends love the place
No
Big fan of the wasabi poke. I highly recommend this place. I love the simplicity of walking in and out to get some great food. Keep in mind parking is very limited and dining in tables are very limited. But definitely worth the stop. Personally I decided to go to the park next door and eat. It was perfect
Place is amazing and very small. Parking is limited but the food was delicious. Very nice and a small ordering area with access to an aloha drink per order. Fresh fish and all around a good hole in the wall stop in Oahu.
Amazing real Hawaiian poke! If your in Waikiki don’t waste your time with the places on the beach, if you eat at most of those places you are getting mainland poke. If you are chasing the real thing Ono seafood is the place to go and not far from the beach either!
Aside from market pokes, this came up on everyone's recommendation list so we came here to try it out. Pretty fresh fish on bed of rice. They also sell diced up ahi mixed with green onions for $3usd ( probably so cheap because it's not as fresh???? But it was still good) limited seating and parking outside the shop
An unassuming small corner restaurant that does one thing well... Prepare the best poke on the island. The special was a spicy tako and it was the best ever. The spicy sauce was creamy. The tako was tender and juicy. Everyone needs to try this place!
One of the best poke places on island. They always sell out early so come before noon. The place has changed a lot over the years, but they make the best of the small space they have.
AMAZING. Perfect food and you can tell they have served a few customers. extremely fast and very patient as our daughter was a bit picky trying to find something to match straight salmon sushi that she loves.
This place is fantastic! Simple but high quality food, a local guy that we met suggested this place and I am glad that we got to try it on the last day of our stay. I wish they had an air conditioned dine in area but all they have is some picnic tables in their outdoor space. Nothing too fancy that a typical tourist would expect but apparently what they offer is one of the most authentic styles of Hawaiian cuisine. I tried their #7 on the menu which is Spicy Ahi Salmon and it was super delicious.
Delicious place for a quick bite of some fresh seafood. The establishment is a bit small and not much seating (or parking) but the food quality is great and the portions are excellent! The fish was of high quality and the sauces were absolutely delicious, I could actually smell other people's meals before I even entered the place. As an added bonus all meals come with a drink! So check it out. You will be not be disappointed.
The best Poke I've ever had in Hawaii across all the islands! The food is so delicious and great prices too. Fast service as you just order and pick up at the end of the counter. Limited seating and parking so be prepared to park across the street or at the nearest parking area. Well worth the wait though! I got the Spicy Ahi which is amazing, can't wait to go back.
This place is fantastic. In California the majority of poke you buy has been previously frozen. You can tell the fish from Ono has never been frozen and is as fresh as can be.Unlike the mainland they don't doctor it up with a lot of toppings but it doesn't need it. I had the #3 Hawaiian style and it was great.Highly recommend.
Service was quick, to the point and the ingredients fresh and plentiful for a fair price. Granted, this is our first poke bowl but I reckon it will remain among the top.
Fantastic! Definitely the best poke ever. All the pokes that I have ever had was a fake ones. These ones were so fresh I had to worry if the fishes were gonna escape.
It is the best poke on the island. There isn't any doubt. No one will argue with you. People come and eat, sometimes in complete silence. The only disappointment you will feel is the knowledge that you can't get this at home, wherever you live.
By far the best poke I’ve had in Hawaii. There is zero residue or smell on the tuna, incredibly fresh, melts in your mouth. Highly recommend. Look forward to returning to try their taco special.
Best poke I’ve ever had. Both the Hawaiian style and the Shoyu were delicious. The service is super fast, order and get it within five minutes max. Limited seating and parking around here but it doesn’t matter because the fish is so fresh and the seasoning is perfect.
After being in Hawaii for a few weeks, Ono Seafood is by FAR the best poke we have had on the islands. If you're a fan of poke and are near Waikiki, then you absolutely have to go here! The dish is simple, but the freshness of the fish is better than anywhere I have ever been. Seriously, this place is paradise.
I am very particular about Poke and Onos did not disappoint. I tried the spicy salmon and it was perfect for me. The size of the cut was great not too big not to small, salmon was bouncy with good flavor and the spicy sauce they used was delicious. Definitely recommend. No tables or service, take out only.
Super friendly poke shop, which is unusual for this industry apparently. 4 stars because not my absolute favorite poke but definitely in the top 5 for Honolulu
The biggest treasures come in the smallest pot. This is what Ono Seafood is about: The best poke we've had in the smallest restaurant there is!
Real Honest Review:Not worth waiting if there is a long line.Quality of fish is just ok, just like those large chain Poke Bowl places. There are pieces that are stringy and tough. Some fish is NOT FRESH, you can taste it if you have eaten good quality raw fish before. For the price there are better places in Oahu that give bigger portions. They are NOT CHEAP as people and marketing as claimed.DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE AND MARKETING.
We had heard Ono’s was a recommended spot from several people (tourists and locals), so we went during lunch on a Wednesday. There was a line but it moved fairly quickly. When you order poke you can grab a free drink from the fridge, which was a nice perk. I got the regular size shoyu tuna poke, and it was very good. You also have a choice between white and brown rice.
Best spicy ahi on the island.
Yes, one of the best Poki on the Island, we have tried so many Poki and it’s really good. Mahalo
Amazing poke! I think some of the best on the island. It's a quick place to grab lunch and the only downside is the parking lot. It was also reasonably priced too.
We ordered half #1 and half #7 and it was PERFECT! 7 is spicy so it gives a nice little kick to the entire meal. Limited parking and only a few spots to sit down and eat but it is definitely worth it. Delicious!
I think this place is very popular as a few people recommended it. I've been having excellent poke and wasn't too interested in coming here. However, I was on the way back to my hotel and saw the sign. Ok, i see why it's so popular! There was definitely something slightly better about their bowls and how all the flavors came together.
Probably the best poke I ever had! I’m from California and it exceed all my poke experiences. It’s simple, just poke and rice but better than those with many with other sides mixing together. I went back in the 2nd day after the first try. My favorite is combo of #1 and #7 as they mixed very well together. #4 is also delicious. Yum Yum!
Great poke. Love how fresh the fish is and how big the pieces are. One negative is the limited parking. If it's busy, you might need to street park and walk over.
The best ahi place in town!
Amazing poke period. Parking in the lot is limited, but there is easy street parking in the empty lot on the street behind the restaurant (against the chain link fence). Limited seating (outdoor only), so snag a seat early or do takeout.
Really fresh and very good poke. We got the tako and the ahi tuna and I'd recommend the tako
No frills poke - just rice and fish/octopus. Your choices are brown or white rice, small (1/3lb) or large (1/2lb) of poke, and which poke you want. The fish is excellent and the sauces are delicious. I went twice in 2 days. Would go back again.
He got my order wrong! And I found that out when I came back to the hotel. I ordered miso ahi and hawaiian tako combo, somehow ended up getting spicy tako. How did that even happen....2 stars because I ate it anyways, and it tasted good.
Love #7. Spicy ahi. Fresh poke that is just right
Awesome poke! Super fresh and tasty. Favorite on the island.
Fantastic find! Grab-and-go pretty quickly at this poke spot -- we were in and out in under 5min, with already at least 8 people ahead of us. There are 2 picnic benches out front which just overlook the small parking lot, so I say take it to go somewhere more scenic nearby. (We ended up driving to the Botanic Garden nearby and eating there) We ordered 4 different large poke bowls and split across us -- it came with a lot of rice, and was a huge portion in general. We could have all been easily filled with the regular size and less rice! Overall very tasty and we hope to be back soon during our stay in Hawaii! Do as the locals do!
Very good. I liked the #1 and the number #6
Spicy tuna ahi poke is what I get everytime. It's more expensive than other places. But it's fresh and taste is unique. Parking is tough. The lines are quick to go through.
It’s written in the name, ONO! This is my go to Poke place, the flavors are amazing and the rice is just as good. Hands down my favorite and best poke spot in Oahu.
Prices are consistent with downtown market pricing. The poke is excellent all of the food is on point.
Great poke! Just come early since they run out of food
The BEST Poke on Oahu period. Love the wasabi ahi, but you can't go wrong with any of the flavors.
Really great poke! My friends and I tried 3 to 4 poke places during our trip and we all agree this is the best.
Best PokeOur favourite place for poke we tried, we probably tried Poke at 10 places during our visit and this one was our #1 pick. We shared a large, with brown rice and seaweed salad on the side. Delicious. Small parking lot. Small table area outside, we took it to go and drove to a beach. Busy but very friendly and efficient.
Bomb poke. Got the Hawaiian and wasabi. Next time I would hold off on the wasabi and try something different.
They have me the wrong box the first time, I ordered a taco and got fish instead. But they were very happy to fix the order for me. The miso taco was amazing. Fresh and delicious poke
Best poke I've had. Great price, especially for Honolulu.
One of the famous place you must go when you’re in Honolulu. Their poke is the best poke ever!!They will let you choose white/ brown rice and come with the fresh sashimi. A can of soda is free when you do the combo. Enjoy!
Very fresh. Super fast service. All meals include a can of hawaiian sun or a water. Rice and meat is all super tender. Packed full of flavor.
